Humbling Pond, Multiple Reflections and Fall Colours!

Welcome to the Light Stalking weekly community wrap up!

Photography offers grounded representations of reality. However, the slight change in the multitude of variables results in quite singular frames. If grouped, some of these will relate to light surrounding conditions — aka ISO. Some others will fall on what we call exposure; last but definitely not least, the aperture-related variables. Therefore, these slight reflections of our world offer a unique view to our precious home among the stars. For this week, we gladly present a Lilliputian sample of what this type of imagery is capable of.

If you feel like it, you can share some of your unseen perspectives of the world via the wonders of photography. For this, Tersha suggested targeting our attention to symmetry, textures, lighting, camera angle and surfaces! Remember, all of our weekly challenges are being kept alive in favor of our friendly encyclopædia visualis!

Photo of the Week

Surprisingly, this image gave me an odd perspective of its elegant punchline. While collecting some talented reflections, my 13″ laptop's screen gets split in 2 while images get shrunk. This particular frame caught my attention and piqued my curiosity like any other from the batch. After enlarging it into a convenient full-screen view, the gag came to be.

Not sure if I’ve posted previous years/seasons of pictures of this barn. It is across the road from a pottery shop we began visiting on our trips to the mountains of North Carolina a bit under 2 years ago. It was raining when we visited yesterday–not a downpour. I liked the misty feel of late autumn. Hurricane Helene’s devastation in areas was still evident, mainly with downed trees–lots of trees–where we were.
